Acer today announced two affordable Android tablets. The Iconia Tab 7, dubbed as "the marriage of the two most used consumer devices - a tablet and phone", is powered by an unknown quad-core processor and features a 7" 1280 x 800 IPS display, offers 6 hours of battery life and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Of course, the tablet comes with 3G connectivity, in addition to WiFi and Bluetooth radios.
The Acer Iconia Tab 7 will come to Europe, Middle East and Africa in mid-May for €149. Latin America will get it in June, with no plans for a US release.
