LG Optimus L3II Begins Rolling Out This Week

Leading LG's entry-level Android smartphone lineup for the greater part of 2013 will be the Optimus L3II, and the L II line in general. The company released launch plans for the 3.2-inch Optimus L3II. It should begin rolling out in Brazil first, a little later this week, followed by various South- and Central-American markets; and select markets in Asia-Pacific. A selective European launch is also on the cards.

The 3.2-inch entry-level smartphone packs QVGA (320 x 240) pixels, backed by a rather surprising combination of Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 CPU clocked at 1 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, Android 4.1 "Jelly Bean," and dual-SIM slots. LG is aiming at a sub-$150 price-point with the Optimus L3II, landing yet another blow to non-"smart" phones in that range.
