ASUS released a major software update for its Transformer Pad TF300 line of 10.1-inch tablets, including the TF300T, TF300TG, and TF300TL. The update replaces the stock Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich" operating system with Google's latest Android 4.2.2 "Jelly Bean," adding a host of new features, including Google Now, voice commands, gesture-typing on-screen keyboard, multiple user accounts, SELinux, wireless display over Miracast, an improved UI, and a host of bug fixes. The software update is being released for US customers first, with other regions receiving their updates at different points in this month.
