Infinity Ward Shows Valve's Steam Box

Back at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, Valve and Xi3 showed the early version of the Steam Box console. The device is modelled after the PC maker's X7A line of miniature computers.

The Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward posted two pictures of the Xi3 device. The device has the same appearance what Valve showed at the CES, but with the Infinity Ward logo printed on it. However, there is one intriguing thing showed on the picture.

There seems to be an additional unit underneath the Steam Box. It is unknown what the unit is, but some rumours are saying it is just an external hard drive while some of them are hoping that it is the GPU, which would allow users to upgrade it. Hopefully Valve will provide some more information soon.
