Ahead of the MWC 2013, HTC has announced the company's new flagship smartphone at events staged in New York and London. Almost a month after, sources inside the Taiwan's manufacturing industry are saying that the company is struggling with the HTC One manufacturing.
The problem is apparently the UltraPixel camera, facing component shortages. According to sources, HTC will be able to produce between 800 thousand and 1.2 million over the next few months, which is only 20% of what the company was planning.
If the rumours are true, the smartphone could get worldwide delays for the March 15th launch, a day after Samsung's Galaxy S IV announcement.
