Microsoft Halts Windows Phone 7.8 Due To Compatibility Problems

At the end of January, Nokia announced the availability of the long anticipated Windows Phone 7.8. However, according to rumours the software is facing some compatibility problems which forced Microsoft to halts the update. According to several Microsoft's employees, there is a "minor issue in the WP 7.8 software," so we hope that the problem will be resolved quickly. No information has been released what the real problem is.

Windows Phone 7.8 is more a cosmetic update rolled out to Windows Phone 7.5 users, bringing in some features from Windows Phone 8. The update added resizable Live Tiles, new lock screen features, the number of theme and accent colours. Microsoft says that they are working on a fix, so we just have to wait.
