European Taxi Industry Will Protest Uber

The European taxi industry is taking a stand against Uber, a chauffeur car company, by holding protests on Wednesday. Those involved in the taxi industry feel that Uber is taking some of their business away while not respecting the regulations that they have to follow. Since Uber's drivers are not taxi drivers in the traditional sense, they are not licensed as such.

In France alone there are 10,000 vehicles being operated by non-traditional taxi companies and Uber is one of the largest.
