Following the recent introduction of Graph Search and News Feed redesign, Facebook just announced a redesign for its Timeline profile pages, making it easier to read and navigate. A lot of users were complaining about two column Timeline layout which was hard to follow.
New redesign moved status updates, photos and links to the right side of the page while placing information apps on the left side. This also allows you to fully customize your About page.
On the other side, users' recent activities from apps like Flixster, Instagram or photos, music and other similar activity will appear right beneath the About listing.
"We heard from you that the current timeline layout is sometimes hard to read. Starting today, all posts are on the right side of your timeline, with photos, music and other recent activity on the left," wrote Rose Yao on Facebook Newsroom blog.
The new Timeline design has started rolling out to users as Wednesday and will be available to most users in a few weeks.
