Details about Sony Xperia SP have emerged a few days upon the biggest mobile event, the Mobile World Congress. The folks over at XperiaBlog have published a photo which seems to be an official press render of Sony Xperia SP. Along with the photo, the Xperia SP has already been listed by some UK-based retailer for around €350.
The Xperia SP was rumoured to feature a 4.6-inch with a high-definition 720p resolution, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T SoC, along with a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and Adreno 320 GPU, 8 GB of internal storage and an 8-megapixel Sony Exmor RS sensor. The handset will have an aluminum frame and a removable plastic back cover. Underneath the cover, we can find the SIM and microSD slots. Measuring 130.6 x 67.1 x 9.98 mm, the Xperia SP weighs 155 g.
Sony also announced that the company will hold a press conference on March 18, where should unveil two new Android smartphones. Those two smartphones should be the rumoured Xperia SP and Xperia L.
