Burger King's Twitter Account Hacked

Burger King "just got sold to McDonalds", or so the tweet with a McDonald's logo claimed. BK's twitter account got hacked for over an hour yesterday, during which time over 50 posts were made. The company has now regained control of the account and issued an apology.

In a blog post yesterday, Twitter has stated that they have been hit by a cyberattack and that approximately 250,000 user accounts have been compromised. A a precaution they have reset the passwords and revoked session tokens for the affected accounts.
