Titan Books brand new graphic novel titled Dead Space: Liberation will be out for release soon. The novel is set in the Dead Space universe and is a prequel to the new game Dead Space 3. They were kind enough to send us a copy of two upcoming DS novels for review.

Development Costs Of Journey Bankrupted Company

Having a game that is critically received and even sets Play Station Network sales records doesn't necessarily guarantee success. The creator of the hit game Journey said that even with those kind of numbers the development costs bankrupted ThatGameCompany.

Wildman Kickstarter Cancelled By GPG

In an update, about an hour ago, on the Kickstarter page for Gas Powered Game's Wildman, the developers have decided to cancel the campaign before it ran out of time in another couple days. They will be trying to focus on other ways to keep Gas Powered Games running.

Id Co-founder Says Linux Not A High Priority

One of Id Software's Co-founders, John Carmack, has stated in a post on Reddit that porting games to Linux barely makes into his top ten priorities. He states that a good business case cannot be made for officially supporting the operating system and drivers.

Heart Of The Swarm Beta Ending March 1st

In a blog on the official Starcraft II site, Blizzard has announced that in preparation for the launch of the game, the public beta test for Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm will be coming to an end on March 1st, 2013 .A private beta will continue until launch.

OUYA Game Review Process To Begin This Month

The CEO of OUYA, Julie Uhrman, stated in an interview that the game approval process for Android developers submitting games for the new console would begin sometime the mid to end of February time frame and that the review process would be a quick one.
