Minecraft Now Available On New 3DS

PayPal can now be used as a payment option on the Nintendo eShop, making it easier for some people to purchase Switch, 3DS, and Wii U games. Paying with that method is quite simple on the Switch. When you go to purchase a piece of content on the console, PayPal will be available.

Nintendo Sued Over Switch's Controllers

A lawsuit filed against Nintendo claims the Switch's detachable controller design is covered by an existing patent. The filing comes from accessory maker Gamevice, which holds patents covering tech used in the Wikipad, an Android tablet. Gamevice is seeking a monetary settlement.

New 3DS Production Ends In Japan

Nintendo has stopped manufacturing New 3DS units in Japan. An update posted to the company's Japanese websites reveals all models (white, black, and limited edition) have left production. The same message doesn't exist for the 2DS, New 2DS XL, or New 3DS XL.
