Left 4 Dead 2 Linux Beta Launched

Valve released the first public beta of the smash hit online shooter, Left 4 Dead 2, for Linux. The game had been the posterboy of Valve's efforts to port its Steam platform to the operating system, being some of the earliest games to be successfully ported.
