Rockstar Sues BBC Over Grand Theft Auto Creation Drama

The BBC is going to release a dramatization of Rockstar Games and the creation of Grand Theft Auto and that drama will be called Game Changer. Hearing those plans, Rockstar has decided to file a lawsuit against the BBC. Game Changer would be based around Rockstar's battle with Jack Thompson, an activist lawyer.

Danielle Radcliffe is set to play Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar, and Bill Paxton will play Jack Thompson. Rockstar does not want the show to be made or aired.

BBC has not commented on the lawsuit. Rockstar argues the show could infringe on its trademarks since the show is "unofficial depiction of purported events related to Rockstar Games. "

Filming for Game Changer began in April and the show is supposed to air later this year.
