Alienware Launches New Gaming Laptop With Maxwell SLI GPUs

Nowadays gaming notebooks are still behind desktop solutions in terms of performance, but the difference is not that big as it was few years ago. Today, Dell has launched a new powerful Alienware 18 (2015) model aimed at the most demanding gaming customers.

The new Alienware notebook comes with various customization options. It features an 18.4-inch Full HD display, a 4th Gen Intel Haswell quad-core processor, up to two GTX 980M Maxwell GPUs, up to 32 GB dual channel DDR3L RAM and up to 1 TB Hard Drive + 512 GB SSD.

It has aluminum and magnesium chassis similar to other models, and the same RGB LED lightning. Just by looking at it, you can see it's not a notebook to lug around as it measures 2.26" (57.50 mm) x 17.972" (456.50 mm) x 12.909" (327.89 mm) and weighs 12.064 lbs (5.472 kg).

The highest-end configuration will cost you around $4,650 and is available from Dell's website.
