It is always interesting to read and watch iFixit's teardowns. The latest device they have decided to open is the Apple's iPad Pro 9.7. Repairing some devices are extremely hard due to complex designs and if you ever have to repair the smaller iPad Pro, you will find out why.
The team had managed to open the device in 30 minutes, but according to them, the device is extremely hard to fix. The biggest problems are fused front panel that increases the cost of screen repair and a lot of adhesives, which holds everything in place. The 12.9-inch version got 3/10 repairability score, while the new 9.7-inch only got a 2/10. The teardown is available here.
