The BBC's Olympic 360 streams and videos were viewed over a million times and a lot of feedback was provided. This test of 360-degree video technology was one of the largest and the response from viewers suggests there are many people eager to view 360-degree and VR content.

During the 2016 Olympics, the BBC streamed and captured 360-degree beach volleyball, boxing, and opening/closing ceremony content. Viewers could see all of the content with a special app.
