Microsoft Surface Book Now Listed As "Old Version", A Successor Around The Corner?

The Next Web

Microsoft's first-generation Surface Book laptop has surprised many since there were almost no details about its existence. The laptop received great ratings from many reviewers, but all of them complained about the one thing and that is the gap in the hinge. Its successor is rumoured to fix that thing, but we don't know how long we have to wait for it.

It was first believed that we won't see new Surface Book at the upcoming October event, but new evidence suggests otherwise. We know that Microsoft is preparing updated Surface Pro 4, featuring Intel's Kaby Lake processors, and Amazon listings have now revealed that Surface Book could be updated as well.

The listings have been updated with "OLD VERSION" tag which indicates that new versions of these devices are coming. Whether it will be just a hardware update or a completely new model, is unclear at the moment.
