2016 was definitely a challenging year for GoPro. Only in the last quarter, the company lost $116 million, or 82 cents per share, and one of the reasons is the recall of its first Karma drone and early HERO5 Black production problems. GoPro's founding CEO Nick Woodman said that they build a solid foundation for customers thanks to big investments in hardware, cloud, and mobile.
He also said that new cameras and other accessories will be released this year, and one of the cameras will be HERO6. No other details were released, but hopefully will know more soon.
"Yes, we can confirm there will be new cameras and other accessories released during the year and new camera namely being HERO6. But we're not going to share any information as to the timing or any other details around the release of those new products as you can imagine."
