Facebook Letting Users Add Their Flag To Their Profile Photo

A simple tool has been added to Facebook that lets users add their country's flag to their profile photo. The social network introduced support for photo frames in December 2016 and now it has added around 200 flags to the frame maker.

You can view the frames on the web here or add one by selecting the "add frame" option on your photo from a mobile device.

This kind of feature doesn't inherently lead to more nationalistic divisiveness, but it's also unclear if it completely fits with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's goal of making the network a unified global community.
