Facebook is said to be working on original shows and it'll reportedly promote that content using a new and improved video tab on the network. The Wall Street Journal says the company is working on deals for episodic TV-like shows.
When the new video tab launches, it'll be found on the network, on Facebook's mobile apps, and on the recently launched Facebook Video app.
Shows on the site will be 3 to 30 minutes long and be highlighted in the video tab with a "spotlight" function.
Facebook is looking to obtain shows in genres like sports, science, lifestyle, and teens.
