Porsche Design has recently announced its first 2-in-1 laptop that has Surface Book-like design. It comes with a 13.3-inch display that can be detached and used as a tablet. As expected, it isn't cheap due to its unique design and premium specifications. Some retailers in the US are already taking pre-orders for $2,495.
The Porsche Design Book One is expected to go on sale on April 21 and ahead of the release date, the laptop showed up at the FCC website this week. The documentation revealed a few key things. The tablet packs a 3,235 mAh battery, while the base has a 2,945 mAh. It supports 802.11ac WiFi and the original manufacturer is Taiwanese ODM Quanta.
Other specs that leaked before include a 13.3-inch display with 3,200 x 1,800 pixels resolution, an Intel Core i7-7500U Kaby Lake processor, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of PCIe solid state storage.
