Facebook isn't properly handing terrorism and child abuse content, an investigation by The Times has revealed. A Times reporter established a fake profile and used it to flag legitimately problematic content, such as those showing beheadings or the sexualization of children.
Only some of the flagged posts were ever taken down. Those that remained included one child abuse video.
Facebook ended up removing all of the flagged content when The Times formally contacted the social network.
