Recent rumours are pointing that Microsoft is working on a Windows 10 Mobile device, which is not being developed by the Surface division. On the other hand, the company is ending mainstream support for the most popular version of Windows on mobile, the Windows Phone 8.1.
The platform is still very popular and according to some estimates, more than 70 percent of Windows Phone users are running the aforementioned iteration. If you are one of those that are still running the outdated version of Microsoft's mobile OS, check whether your device is eligible for Windows 10 Mobile update. If not, be aware that you will no longer receive performance or security updates starting tomorrow.
