Huawei Mate 10 is set to be announced on October 16 in Munich, Germany, and from what we could see so far, it is looking very promising. The phablet could be one of the first available phones with under display fingerprint scanner, but it will for sure be the first with the company's own Kirin 970 SoC.
The chipset is expected is touted to be a direct competitor of the Snapdragon 835 SoC, packing four Cortex-A73 clocked at 2.8 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores with unknown frequency. The LPDDR4 RAM supports clocks of up to 1866 MHz, while the GPU is going to be Mali-G72 MP8.
Other specs include an LTE modem with Cat.12 speeds, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2 and will be built by TSMC on the 10 nm process technology.
