Apple has reportedly encountered another production delay with the iPhone X that'll push the phone's production start date to mid-October. News of this delay comes from a Barron's investor note, which says no manufacturing has taken place despite preorders opening up next month.
Christopher Case, an analyst, traveled around Asia speaking with companies along Apple's supply chain. He found the "final production of iPhone X has not yet begun." Because of this, production is likely to begin the middle of next month, a month later than anticipated.
Earlier this summer, the iPhone X's production start date was thought to be August.
Preorders open on October 27 and the phone will be out on November 3.
