Samsung Will Also Have First Dibs At Snapdragon 845

This year, Qualcomm and Samsung made an agreement in which the latter would get the initial batch of Snapdragon 835 for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. This caused many problems for other companies, who had to delay the launch of their products if they wanted to use Snapdragon 835.

Unfortunately, the same might happen next year, as a new report suggests that Samsung will have a similar deal for the Snapdragon 845 as well and will get initial batch for the upcoming Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. The same report also suggests that the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will launch a month earlier than usual.
