Acer Aspire A615-51G With GeForce MX150 Set To Launch On January 8

After a surprising announcement from Intel and AMD, who are partnering on Intel's first multi-chip module that combines a 14 nm Core "Coffee Lake-H" CPU die and a 14 nm Vega GPU die by AMD, it has been confirmed that Acer is gearing up to launch a new mainstream laptop.

Called Acer Aspire A615-51G, the notebook is expected to feature NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics card paired with Intel Kaby Lake-R i5-8250U or i7-8550U, a 1080p IPS display, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB SSD with 1 TB of secondary HDD. Its chassis will be made out of metal and is just under 20 mm thick.

The laptop starts at CNY 5,499 or around $830, while its high-end variant is priced at CNY 6,599 or around $1,000
