When Snapchat comes out with its redesigned application it's reportedly going to include an algorithmic feed, much like those adopted by Facebook, Twitter, and others. CEO Evan Spiegel discussed during the company's Q3 earnings call how a redesign was in development with the goal of making the app "easier to use."
Business Insider has published some details about how Snapchat will work in the future. It's going to have a simpler user interface. At the core of the app will be two feeds, one for private content from your connections and one for public Stories. It's the publicly-facing feed that'll be sorted for each user based on an algorithm.
