Uber has begun testing a new 24/7 support hotline with its top users. In addition to the call hotline, the ridehailing service is running a separate test that gives people access to "specially trained experts" through its in-app support functions. Both tests are only for Uber's most frequent users.
It appears the company is giving users who've gone over 10,000 miles with the service access to the support features. You'll receive an email about them if you're included.
Uber hasn't said when or if it'll expand these options to more users.
