The Nokia Lumia 929, head for major US carrier Verizon, is the envy of many. Windows Phone addicts across the globe are ample happy with the Lumia 1520, but many want the same set of features in a smaller form-factor. To be frank, fans want a 5-inch flagship from the Lumia stable that goes up against Android biggies, and the Lumia 929 looks like it is the only candidate. But if this device is exclusive to Verizon in the US, where does that leave us living in another corner of the globe?
According to the latest reports, Nokia is allegedly working on a global version of the Lumia 929, which will most definitely end up with a different name. The feature set will remain mostly the same, i.e. quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset, 5-inch 1080p display and the works. One addition would be an aluminium body, but take that bit with two grains of salt.
